Notes

'African Queen' lily (Lilium 'African Queen') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Fragrant, deep orange trumpet flowers open from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Angel Cheeks peony.
