Notes
'Bettina' lily of the incas (Alstroemeria 'Bettina') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The spiraea red flowers have purple stripes on the lower petals and sulphur yellow centers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Parigo bred it.
Pairs well with Foxglove, Purple top, and Jacob’s ladder.
