Notes

Blue lyme grass (Leymus arenarius) is a grass for ground cover, xeriscape, rain garden, and container plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and forms arching clumps of blue foliage that tolerate drought and salt. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Deergrass, Blue wild indigo, and Ironweed.
