Notes

Bush violet (Browallia speciosa) is a perennial for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Purple-blue flowers with white centers bloom in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit them.

Pairs well with Angel wings, Staghorn fern, and Lavender Perfection dahlia.
