Notes

Chilean blue crocus (Tecophilaea cyanocrocus) is a bulb that grows 4 to 8 inches tall. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Its royal blue flowers open in early to late spring and have a white throat. Keep the bulb dry and cool during summer dormancy.

Pairs well with Lilac Time dahlia, Heavy Metal switchgrass, and Coppertone stonecrop.
