Notes

Chinese plumbago (Ceratostigma willmottianum) is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers open in late summer and are still blooming when the green leaves turn red in autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Big bluestem, and Gaura.
