Notes

Figwort (Scrophularia marilandica) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows tall, with a branching cluster of small, sac-shaped, greenish-purple flowers in summer. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms.
