Notes
Flat-top goldentop (Euthamia graminifolia) is a perennial for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Yellow flowers open in flat, open clusters in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It spreads by rhizomes to form colonies, so give it room. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it.
Pairs well with Smooth aster, Rough gayfeather, Nodding onion, and Spotted beebalm.
