Notes
'Gladius' lettuce (Lactuca sativa 'Gladius') is a vegetable for containers, food gardens, and easy care. It is typically grown as an annual. Cool weather suits it, and it can take a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is a romaine type that grows fast and stands upright. Growers also choose it for hydroponic systems.
Pairs well with Katrina cucumber, Peione parsley, and Damsel tomato.
