Notes

Golden yarrow (Eriophyllum confertiflorum) is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Small, deep-yellow flowers gather in yarrow-like clusters in spring and summer, and butterflies and bees visit them. The stiff, mounded clump has gray-green, finely divided leaves. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It handles drought well.

Pairs well with California brittlebush, Giant chalk dudleya, and Butterfly flower.
