Notes

Green arrow arum (Peltandra virginica) is a perennial for pond edges, bog gardens, and wildlife gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and moist to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Large, bright green, arrow-shaped leaves rise from the base. Greenish-white spathes curl around a yellow spadix, and blackish berries follow. The berries attract wood ducks and king rails.

Pairs well with Blue flag, Northwind switchgrass, and Umbrella tree.
