Notes
'Gustav's Salad Lettuce' lettuce (Lactuca sativa 'Gustav's Salad Lettuce') is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is typically grown as an annual. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It stays about 12 inches tall and wide, so it fits easily in a pot. It is low maintenance.
Pairs well with Beet/chard, Candy carrot, and Garlic.
