Notes
Honesty (Lunaria annua) is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears pink, purple, or white flowers in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant grows at a rapid pace.
Pairs well with Foxglove, Wood forget-me-not, Thalia daffodil, and Japanese forest grass.
