Notes
'Iron Butterfly' foam flower (Tiarella 'Iron Butterfly') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and edging paths. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White flowers appear in late spring, and the plant grows 6 to 18 inches tall.
Pairs well with Siebold's hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Bergenia.
