Notes
'Jumbo' ostrich fern (Onoclea struthiopteris 'Jumbo') is a fern for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average to wet soil. It grows 36 to 72 inches tall and spreads 36 to 60 inches, so give it room. Rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Royal fern, Spicebush, and Leopard plant.
