Notes

Lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus radicans) is a houseplant for containers and low maintenance spaces. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Its red flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn. Hummingbirds and birds visit the blooms, and the green leaves stay evergreen on arching stems.

Pairs well with Golden pothos, Holly fern, and Zebra plant.
