Notes

'Magyar' maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba 'Magyar') is a tree for specimen use, shade garden settings, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows at a moderate rate with a horizontal habit. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Northern bayberry, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
