Notes

Mountain sandwort (Arenaria Montana) is a perennial for ground cover, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays evergreen, tolerates drought, and blooms in spring and again in summer. It sits low on the menu for deer. Plants spread about 12 inches, so give each one room.

Pairs well with Cat mint, Black Parrot tulip, and Tall fescue.
