Notes
'NCORNSP-021SHJB' sweet potato vine (Ipomoea batatas 'NCORNSP-021SHJB') is a perennial for containers, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast and spreads 18 to 36 inches, so give it room. Bees visit the purple flowers.
Pairs well with American Dawn dahlia, Papyrus, and Angel wings.
