Notes
'New Zealand Lemonade' lemon (Citrus limon 'New Zealand Lemonade') is a semi-dwarf tree grown for its fruit in the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. Give it full sun. The fruit looks like a lime but turns yellow as it ripens. It tastes sweet like an orange with a mild lemon flavor reminiscent of lemonade.
Pairs well with Olive, Lemon verbena, Fuyu persimmon, and Flowering banana.
