Notes

Nodding pincushion (Leucospermum cordifolium) is a shrub for borders, containers, and low maintenance xeriscape gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It stays evergreen and handles drought and salt.

Pairs well with Aloe, Kissho Kan American century plant, Paddle plant, and Siskiyou Pink gaura.
