Notes
'Purple Kisses' daucus (Daucus carota 'Purple Kisses') is a vegetable for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy crops, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and blooms pink, purple, and white. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Six Hills Giant nepeta, PowWow Wild Berry coneflower, and Fennel.
