Notes

'Red' coral plant (Russelia equisetiformis 'Red') is a shrub with slender, cascading stems and red tubular flowers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Hummingbirds and bees visit the one inch long flowers, which appear from spring to fall. It stays more compact in containers.

Pairs well with Angel wings, Kimberly queen fern, and Lemon Grass lemongrass.
