Notes
'Royal Gold' freesia (Freesia 'Royal Gold') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, fragrant flowers open in early to late summer. They are buttercup yellow with tangerine orange edges.
Pairs well with Lavender Perfection dahlia, Northwind switchgrass, and Dragon Wing Red begonia.
