Notes

Santa cruz water lily (Victoria cruziana) is a perennial for specimen and accent use in a pond. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and moist, loamy soil. The huge green leaves have purple edges and spread flat across the water. Fragrant cream, pink, and white flowers open from early to late summer.

Pairs well with White waterlily, Papyrus, and Bald cypress.
