Notes

Silver feather grass (Stipa barbata) is a grass for borders, containers, and accents, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It is drought tolerant and blooms from early to late summer. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
