Notes

Trailing ice plant (Lampranthus spectabilis) is a succulent for ground cover, borders, containers, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It stays evergreen, tolerates drought and salt, and draws butterflies. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in spring, summer, and winter.

Pairs well with Tuscan Blue rosemary, Elfin mother of thyme, and Desert spoon.
