Notes

'Volthu 1007' 1007 black-eyed Susan vine (Thunbergia alata 'Volthu 1007') is a vine for containers, privacy screens, and annual beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Orange-red flowers with a black center eye bloom in spring and again in autumn. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Mandevilla, Lantana, and Hyacinth bean.
