Notes
Water mimosa (Neptunia oleracea) is a perennial for ponds, water gardens, and wet spots. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Its stems can spread wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Water lettuce, Switchgrass, and Suncredible Yellow sunflower.
