Notes

Watermelon dischidia (Dischidia ovata) is a vine for containers and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its gray, silver, and green leaves are variegated, and the stems cascade and grow at a rapid rate. Small cream and white flowers can appear in any season.

Pairs well with Jade pothos, Thai Constellation monstera, Prince of Orange philodendron, and African mask.
