Notes

White swallow-wort (Vincetoxicum hirundinaria) is a vine for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant greenish-white flowers appear in late spring and early to mid summer. The vine is also drought tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, and Snowberry.
