Notes

Whitebrush (Aloysia gratissima) is a shrub for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Small white flowers carry a strong vanilla scent, and bees love them. You can prune it into a hedge or cut it back for bushier growth. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
