Notes
'Winterbourn' philodendron (Philodendron 'Winterbourn') is a perennial for borders, containers, and foundation plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It forms a dense, evergreen mound of green leaves up to 48 inches tall, and the red spathe and creamy white spadix add color.
Pairs well with Angel wings, Staghorn fern, Kimberly queen fern, and Lemon grass.
