aeonium

Notes

Aeonium (Aeonium haworthii) is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and houseplant collections. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun. It forms small branching shrubs of fleshy rosettes with spoon-shaped, green to grey-green leaves edged in red. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring.

Pairs well with Red-hot poker, Feather reed grass, and Crocus.
