Notes
'Alabaster' globe flower (Trollius cultorum 'Alabaster') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Soft butter yellow flowers are semi double and round like globes. They rise on bare stems above mounds of deep green, finely cut leaves. Shear the plants after blooming to encourage new foliage and rebloom.
Pairs well with Picture peony, Sensitive fern, and Little Beauty tulip.
