Notes

'Orange Princess' globe flower (Trollius cultorum 'Orange Princess') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist, loamy or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plants grow 24 to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Primrose, Lady's mantle, and Aurea tufted sedge.
