Notes
'Alba' Cape leadwort (Plumbago auriculata 'Alba') is a shrub for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought and salt. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room, since the arching stems spread wide.
Pairs well with Olive, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
