Notes

'Alpha' calendula (Calendula officinalis 'Alpha') is an herb for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is typically grown as an annual. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The clear, bright orange blooms look like gerberas, and bees and butterflies visit the fragrant flowers.

Pairs well with Teddy dill, Santo cilantro, Favorite Berries yarrow, and Redbor kale.
