Notes

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Bright yellow to deep orange flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the fragrant blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The mounding plants stay 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Blue Horizon flossflower, Zinnia, and Provence lavandin.
