Notes
American sloughgrass (Beckmannia syzigachne) is a grass that grows up to 48 inches tall. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). White and green flowers appear from early to late summer. This grass is native to many parts of the northern United States and Canada. You can use its tall form to add height to a naturalized planting. Its blooms add color through the warm months.
Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Francee hosta, and Winterberry.
