Notes

Angelica (Angelica archangelica) is an herb for borders, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. Greenish-white flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room, since it can reach 72 inches tall.

Pairs well with Lupine, Purple Sensation ornamental onion, and Ladybird poppy.

Native range

Europe, Central Asia, Arctic, and Føroyar.
