Notes

Apache plume (Fallugia paradoxa) is a shrub for borders, rock gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers look like apple blossoms, and they are followed by feathery pink plumes that last. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Cut the oldest woody stems to the ground to rejuvenate it.

Pairs well with Baja fairy duster, Fireweed, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
