Notes

'Appleblossom' freesia (Freesia 'Appleblossom') is a bulb for cut flowers, specimen plantings, and fragrant garden color. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open in early to late summer. They are phlox purple inside with a white center and yellow patches deep in the throat. M.C. van Staaveren bred it.

Pairs well with Great Silence dahlia, Cyclamen, and Lemon grass.
