Notes

Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink and white flowers open in early to late spring and draw butterflies and bees. The tree has a broad shape and grows at a moderate rate, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Crab apple, Virginia sweetspire, Feather reed grass, and Casa Blanca lily.
