Notes

Arctic sweet coltsfoot (Petasites frigidus) is a perennial for ground cover and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. White flowers open in late winter and carry into spring. The gray-green leaves reach 12 to 24 inches tall.
