Notes

'Atlanta City' dahlia (Dahlia 'Atlanta City') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 35 inches tall and bears red blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Berbee bred it, and van Dongen introduced it in 2008.

Pairs well with Purple top, Japanese forest grass, and Gaura.
