Notes

Baby sun rose (Mesembryanthemum cordifolium) is a succulent for containers, low maintenance beds, and ground cover. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It stays 3 to 6 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. Purplish-red flowers appear through the year, and the leaves stay evergreen.

Pairs well with Jade plant, Aeonium, and Coral aloe.
