Notes

Jade plant (Crassula ovata) is a succulent for containers, borders, and specimen planting, and it needs little care. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, with green leaves that can show red or burgundy tones and white to pink flowers.

Pairs well with Ponytail palm, Hummingbird sage, and Frangipani.
