Black Beauty eggplant

Garden uses

Notes

'Black Beauty' eggplant (Solanum melongena 'Black Beauty') is a vegetable for containers and the food garden. It is typically grown as an annual. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This heirloom variety matures in about 74 days from planting. Grow it in a pot if your garden space is small.

Pairs well with Basil, Pepper, Cucumber, and Rosemary.
