Notes

'Blackout' coral bells (Heuchera 'Blackout') is a perennial for borders, containers, shade gardens, and woodland plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Creamy white flowers appear from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. The plant stays under 9 inches tall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Blue fescue.
